venaseal in Rogers

Just Glue It

Venaseal™ from Medtronic is a medical-grade adhesive that's injected slowly in a diseased vein effected by venous insufficiency.

Ozark Regional Vein & Artery Center is committed to offering the most up to the minute treatments available. In fact, Dr. Haney was the first in Arkansas to offer this unique treatment approach in 2016, completing nearly 300 since.

This one-of-a-kind approach rules out the risk of nerve injury for treatment of the small saphenous vein, which can be a concern with some thermal-based procedures.

A thorough ultrasound scan will determine the segments of veins that need closure. Our patients love it, because it’s the only treatment not requiring compression hose after the procedure.

There aren’t multiple needle sticks, minimal-to-no bruising, and rapid return to everyday activities. Clinical studies demonstrated the Venaseal in Rogers is safe and practical.

How it Works

No tumescent is needed, but one small numbing shot is injected near the insertion area before the procedure begins.

Step 1

A tiny catheter is inserted into the diseased vein.

Step 2

Small drops are precisely injected into segments of the vein, then immediately compressed to close it shut.

Step 3

Ultrasound is used throughout the entire procedure to guide the catheter through the vein.

Cool Down

Once the treatment is complete, we will remove the catheter and simply place a bandage over the puncture site.

"Excellent Care Team and Experience "

Ozark Regional Vein & Artery Center offered the easiest and most efficient process at diagnosing and treatment varicose and spider veins. From the ease of a consult, thorough explanation of needed procedures and follow up treatments, the experience was excellent. What a relief it was to know this care is available, in our area, and was covered by my insurance. I do ask myself, "Why did I wait?"
