Dr. Haney, Dr. Stout and our staff have over a combined 600 years of specialized experience in varicose vein, spider vein, and arterial treatment.
While we understand that vein or artery issues can be stressful, our seasoned team of professionals aim to make each visit as informational and pleasant as possible.

Are vein treatments covered by insurance?
Yes, we accept most insurance providers. If venous reflux is found with varicose veins, most insurance companies consider it to be a significant leg problem, and they almost always cover treatment (minus your deductible and copays). However, spider veins are considered cosmetic by insurance providers and are typically not covered by insurance.

Does vein treatment hurt?
Most patients experience little to no pain. Topical anesthesia or ice packs can be applied to those who are more sensitive to pain. Most patients feel little to no anxiety here, but for those experiencing extreme anxiety, we can provide moderate pre-procedure sedation. Pronox (nitrous oxide) is also available for purchase and can be administered during the procedure.

No! Vein stripping is an antiquated, unnecessary, and painful way of treating veins. Dr. Haney and our team use the most up-to-date treatment methods, including Varithena, VenaSeal, radiofrequency ablations, and sclerotherapy, to treat venous insufficiency.
