For larger varicose veins Dr. Haney will use ultrasound guidance to ensure accuracy. For smaller spider veins, or telangectasias, ultrasound guidance is not necessary and visual guidance is used. This allows us to deliver the highest quality and most effective spider vein treatment in Rogers.
Insurance will not cover spider vein treatment. However, for patients that have underlying venous reflux disease, spider veins will often improve with treatment of the underlying issue. For those with only cosmetic issues, sclerotherapy is an excellent option for improving the appearance of the legs.
