Everyone needs to go to the doctor’s sometimes. It’s easy to procrastinate scheduling a doctor’s appointment. It can be a stressful, overwhelming process; after all, if you’re visiting a doctor, then you probably have a medical condition that you need treated.
When you have to navigate a number of different confusing forms and protocols, it might seem simpler to just ignore your condition. We don’t recommend that. Ignoring a medical concern can lead to complications. Fortunately, not all medical clinics are made equal.
We’re Ozark Regional Vein & Artery Center, a vein and artery clinic in Rogers, AR. We know the scheduling process can be confusing, so we want to do everything we can to make the experience as convenient as possible.

We will help you schedule your appointments for times and dates that work best for you. The treatment process should be a positive one. We never want our patients to feel discouraged.
If you need a check-in or follow-up appointment, we will help you schedule that—you don’t have to worry about it yourself. If you ever feel overwhelmed while receiving treatment at Ozark, let your provider know.
The Ins and Outs of Ozark
Let’s take the opportunity to learn a little more about who we are and what we do. We’re Ozark Regional Vein & Artery Center, a clinic designed to treat many different venous and arterial conditions.

Around 1 in 10 Americans suffer from vascular conditions, yet not everyone understands what that entails.
That’s just one advantage that comes with receiving treatment at Ozark. Our medical practitioners are experts in their field, and they take the time to not only treat your conditions, but educate you about them as well.
Our Process
When you visit our vein and artery clinic in Rogers, AR, our practitioners will treat you with the respect you deserve. We believe in specialized care, which means that your treatment plan will be exclusive to your needs.
You won’t have the same treatment plan as any other patient, because you’re not like any other patient. Personalized care is the special touch that sets Ozark apart from the rest.
We want to build a relationship with each and every one of our patients. Our team will get to know you on a personal level, because when we understand you, we understand the kind of treatment you need.
Our People
We’re very selective about hiring team members at Ozark. Of course, we always work to find qualified, trained medical professionals, but that’s not all we look for. We also want to find people who will be compatible with our patients.
There’s an undeniable human element in the medical field. It’s not just about offering treatment as quickly as possible—we want people who can relate to patients like you.
Our team members are deeply passionate about the vascular field, and they enjoy helping people treat their venous and arterial conditions. We got into this business to assist people all over the area.
Prepping for Your Consultation
The first appointment that you’ll need to schedule at our vein and artery clinic in Rogers, AR, is the initial consultation. If you’ve never had a consultation at our clinic, you may be unsure of how to best prepare for the appointment.
When you come in, you should know your medical history. Does your family have a history of vascular conditions? What kind of medications do you take? Are they blood thinners?

A researched patient is always appreciated, but be aware, we may recommend a different treatment than you expected.
Some patients enter our clinic with an idea of which specific treatment they’d prefer. But we might find that a different procedure will treat your condition more effectively.
The First Appointment
The initial consultation is how we determine which of our treatments is the right choice for you and your condition.
This appointment is an essential one, but it should be relatively simple. Once you arrive, we’ll ask you some simple questions about why you came to our clinic. We’ll go over your symptoms and what results you’re hoping to experience after your treatment is complete.
Another important aspect of the consultation is the exam. Depending on your condition, we may need to get a look at your symptoms for ourselves. Once the consultation is complete, we’ll get your treatment scheduled for a time that works for you.
The Imaging Process
Another appointment you may need to schedule before you get started with your treatment is a vascular imaging session. Being that vascular issues are not always visible on the surface of the skin, vascular imaging can be an important step in diagnosing your condition.
We always want to keep treatment under the Ozark roof if possible—you shouldn’t have to drive all over the area to get an accurate diagnosis. We have a number of different imaging options available, like ultrasounds and angiograms.
You will only need to wait 48 hours before receiving the results of your imaging. From there, we can start planning your treatment.
Prepping for the Treatment
There are some steps you may need to take before you come in for a treatment at our vein and artery clinic in Rogers, AR. The intensity of our treatments will change depending on your condition, so the prep may differ from patient to patient.
If you’re taking specific medications that could affect your blood clotting, then we may ask you to stop taking them in the days leading up to your treatment. Some treatments may require you to bring a friend or family member to drive you home.
We will let you know how you can prepare for your procedure during your consultation.
The Treatment
Your treatment appointment will likely look different from just about anyone else’s. Of course, if you’re receiving the same treatment as a fellow patient, there will be some similarities. But the specifics of your condition will ensure that things vary, even if slightly.
Procedures may take less than an hour, whereas others may take much longer. Your provider will tell you exactly what to expect, so you won’t be wondering if you’ll need to take time off of work or school.
We believe open communication is the key to effective vascular treatment. We never want you to feel confused or unsure during the process.
Additional Treatments
After a particularly intensive treatment, you may need to take some additional steps to promote proper healing. Your provider will give you detailed post-op instructions to help ensure your recovery goes as planned.
These instructions may include effective recovery methods, wound care, and even rehabilitation. Not every patient at Ozark will need rehab after their procedure, but for some, it is an essential part of the treatment process.
Our providers will let you know if you require rehabilitation following your treatment, and they will help you schedule your appointments if need be.
Follow-Up Appointments
At our vein and artery clinic in Rogers, AR, we help you through every step of your vascular journey, and that commitment doesn’t end when your treatment is over.
We want to ensure that your recovery is going as planned, which is why we may have you schedule a follow-up appointment as necessary. For some treatments, like uterine fibroid embolization, we’ll want to monitor your process.
These appointments will likely take place around a week after your initial treatment, depending on your schedule. Here, we’ll examine your condition and ensure that you’re healing as planned.
