Most patients experience little to no pain. Topical anesthesia or ice packs can be applied to those who are more sensitive to pain. Most patients feel little to no anxiety here, but for those experiencing extreme anxiety, we can provide moderate pre-procedure sedation. Pronox (nitrous oxide) is also available for purchase and can be administered during the procedure.
